Downloading .apk file opened browser and nothing happened

My problem is in the title, i can't download any .apk file, when i try to Replies:16; OpenNot stickiedUnanswered I don't understand why this is happening i mean i have no anti-virus, no task killer nothing, please help Was it the same apk file which you failed to download via different web browsers?
